Big Bangles Baby Sister

I am having such fun with these bangles, I can really experiment with surface designs , textures and colour. They do need lots of sanding and polishing which is pretty time consuming but having said that, I think they are a joy to wear.

Wishing everyone a happy Easter break, we're off to France for the weekend- yippee

A fantastic collection of jewellery work and a 'new discovery'

The first collection in the series is up on Crafthaus http://crafthaus.ning.com/group/powdermetallurgypart1 and it features some absolutely wonderful work showing the phenomenal range and scope of what can be done with metal clay. One artist, in particular caught my eye, the work of Cindy Miller www.cindymiller.com

I hadn't seen her work before and it's stunning. Not just because it's beautifully executed which it is but the designs are so truly her own, slightly off beat and quirky which I love. Here's just a small selection of her work but do check out her site.

I'm obsessed with pods!

Cynthia Tineapple's post on 4th April www.PolymerClayDaily.com  about pods kinda pushed an idea that had been floating round at the back of my head for ages RIGHT to the front! and now I'm completely obsessed with the little buggers.

Anything diversion to stop me doing what I should be doing at the moment which is work on my new website ( watch this space but make sure you've got a good book with you in case you get bored) Anyway, I really like them and think there's some potential there to explore.

My first experiments with 'She sells sea shells on the sea shore'
